To support 8 billion people on our planet, we must reduce carbon while changing our power grids.
Step 1: Global Reforestation
Large-scale tree planting helps immediately reduce carbon in the atmosphere, restores topsoil, and rebuilds habitats that have been lost to urbanization.
Step 2: Bioengineered Fuels
Changing from fossil fuels to sustainable biofuels provides an efficient replacement for transit, cutting down on greenhouse gas emissions.
Step 3: Climate Stabilization
By reducing the carbon in the atmosphere through trees and preventing new fossil emissions with biofuels, we create a scalable energy ecosystem.

Elijah Sudhakar
Age 13I am a thirteen year old attending Pioneer Heritage Middle School. Ever since I was young, I have always felt very passionate about cleaning the environment, specifically air pollution caused by natural resources. Fossil fuels used daily in cars and houses contribute to most of the air pollution in which we breathe daily. My interest in repairing our economy led me to contribute my ideas to the World of 8 Billion, sharing my ideas with the world.

Age 14I am fourteen years old and also attending Pioneer Heritage Middle School. As someone who suffers from asthma, the carbon emissions from the atmosphere have not helped me live my life. This problem of air pollution is not only hurting our world, but also hurting the people who live in it. My interest in reducing greenhouse gases is only fueled more by the mass deforestation, which only makes it harder for living a green life. Sharing this idea to the world will greatly help us strive towards a cleaner future.
